FAMILY (51)

from 125.00

Created on March 15, 2014 in Boulder, CO, USA.

My dad wanted to tag along on my birthday, so I brought him to a spot I had recently discovered in Boulder Canyon in Colorado.

After we arrived, for some reason I just couldn’t get a balance that I would be happy with. After a few hours of watching me fail, my dad had wandered off. He came back a little while later saying he had found a little serene area… so I decided to go take a look!

A section of the spot he discovered is what you see in this edition. The water was flowing nicely between the boulders, and there was an energy to the area that was wonderful. The cascades were perfect.

When I pressed the camera shutter after seeing what lay before me in my camera viewfinder, I knew I had captured something special. My Dad was standing behind me as I took the shot, and it was a great moment where he saw what how hard I was willing to work for my dream. It was at this moment when he truly began to believe in my vision.

The result is something that carries such balance and flow, and is a personal reminder that I definitely could not do any of this without the support of my family.  I hope this edition gives you many years of strength in your family.

About FAMILY - #51

"Where there is unity there is always victory." - Publilius Syrus

The day I created to this just so happened to be my birthday! My dad wanted to tag along on this particular day, so I brought him to a spot I had recently discovered in Boulder Canyon.

After we arrived, for some reason I just couldn’t get a balance that I would be happy with. Perhaps I was trying too hard to make things happen, but there did seem to be a very unsettling vibe to the dangerous area I was working in.

I wanted to do something special for my birthday, the spot, and the guy who gave me life. After selecting some beautiful rocks of about the same size at this new location that my Dad had found, the edition just fell into place. The result is something that carries such balance and flow, and is a personal reminder that I definitely could not do any of this without the support of my father and my family.

When I pressed the trigger after seeing what lay before me in my camera viewfinder, I knew I had captured something special. My Dad was standing behind me as I took the shot, and it was a great moment where he saw what how hard I was willing to work for my dream. It was at this moment when he truly began to believe in my vision.

I hope this edition gives you many years of strength in your family.
